I don't know why I got cirrhosis?

Patient's question:

Recently, I don't know what's going on, I can't drink beer anymore. Before, it was always fine, but after drinking beer, I feel unbearable pain in the liver area. There's no other way but to take some medicine to relieve it. Thinking it might get worse, I later went to the hospital for a check-up and was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis.

Doctor's answer:

Restrict alcohol consumption and try to drink low-alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages.
Eat a diet high in protein and fiber, especially focusing on digesting B vitamins, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, and folic acid.
Consume green vegetables, fruits, and fiber-rich foods, as well as high-protein lean meats, river fish, and soy products.
Avoid snacking and do not eat extra meals before bed.
Mood is also very important—do not get angry.
If properly managed, you won’t have issues for many years. If not, symptoms will appear very quickly, and it will be extremely harmful to your health.
Liver cirrhosis causes significant harm to patients. Once you notice symptoms, seek medical attention promptly.
