Patient's question:
Recently, I went for an audition at a company, and they asked me to get a physical examination at the city's disease control center first. After a round of tests, I received a health check report. Everything else was fine, but it said I have mild fatty liver.Doctor's answer:
The clinical manifestations of fatty liver are diverse. Mild fatty liver may only cause fatigue, while most patients with fatty liver, who are often overweight and have liver palm and spider angiomas, find it harder to notice mild subjective symptoms. Severe fatty liver has symptoms similar to chronic hepatitis, such as poor appetite, fatigue, nausea, dry vomiting, weight loss, and dull pain in the liver area or upper right abdomen. Most patients with fatty liver have no subjective symptoms, or only mild fatigue, poor appetite, abdominal pain, belching, or a sense of fullness in the liver area.
