What foods should be eaten for acute hepatitis?

Patient's question:

My colleague from my unit discovered that she had hepatitis B during a health check-up organized by the company. She was shocked by the news herself. She said that she had been feeling a bit tired and not very hungry lately, but she never thought it could be hepatitis. Because of this, she hasn't been in the best spirits. She has been visiting doctors and taking medication, and is currently receiving treatment. I would like to ask, in terms of daily food, what kind of food is beneficial for this condition?

Doctor's answer:

Hepatitis can be divided into hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E. In China, hepatitis A and B are more common. Approximately 120 million people in China are carriers of the hepatitis B virus. Hepatitis primarily occurs when viruses infiltrate liver cells, causing inflammation, leading to liver cell degeneration and pus formation. Currently, there are no specific treatments for hepatitis, especially hepatitis B. General medications mainly aim to suppress the progression of hepatitis, but these drugs are metabolized in the liver. Therefore, it is recommended to use fewer medications and exercise caution when taking them.
