On October 22, 1998, Jiang Zemin once proposed: "Learning theory must be combined with understanding historical practice and summarizing historical experience. Using the vivid history of the Communist Party of China to conduct revolutionary tradition education and Party policy education allows the vast number of young people in our country to have a comprehensive understanding of the Party's history, the Party's fine revolutionary traditions, and the development trajectory of the Party's policies and strategies. It can be said that this is a matter of both historical significance and practical significance. Based on this consideration, we accepted an invitation from the China Party History Press to compile the book "College Students Reading Party History." The aim is to provide the vast number of young people in our country with a revolutionary tradition education, enabling them to understand the history of the Communist Party of China, the arduous journey the Party has gone through, and to truly realize that today's happy life is hard-won. This is intended to inspire genuine feelings of love for the Party, love for the motherland, and love for socialism among the young people.
