Features: China's reform is a grand narrative. As a measure to assess the efforts made along this narrative, it must be supported by concrete, credible, and living content and data. These living content and data guide us to identify what changes are currently taking place, what progress has been achieved, and what pressing issues urgently need to be addressed. The three reports—National Conditions, National Policies, and National Strengths—this year are three movements in the grand narrative of China's economic and social reform. As a professional institution providing information support for scientific decision-making and legal administration by Party and government leaders, the China Leadership Decision Information System has been under construction since 1994, relying on the official website of China's government information network. Currently, it has become the largest platform in China for research, development, exchange, and service in leadership decision information, serving as a strategic partner in the government's informatization construction and the chief content provider for Chinese government information. In 2006, centered around information application services, the new concept of China's Government Performance Monitoring was first introduced, leading to the development of the first proprietary intellectual property rights-based China Government Performance Monitoring System. This significantly enhanced the timeliness, accuracy, completeness, and broad coverage of government information, elevating the research on government information to a new level in both content and quality.
