Features: Writing a truly meaningful textbook of international economic law is an "impossible task." International economic law covers a vast and diverse range of content, with many branches such as international trade law, international commercial transaction law, international financial law, international investment law, international tax law, and international commercial arbitration, each constituting an independent legal system that can be set up as a professional course and systematically discussed in a separate textbook. At the same time, as a new legal discipline, international economic law is actually in a dynamically evolving state, with its research content constantly changing in response to major reforms in the international economic system. Under these circumstances, it is unattainable to comprehensively, systematically, and logically introduce the actual content of international economic law in a single textbook or course. Therefore, it has become a necessity to introduce as comprehensively and systematically as possible the basic situation of this emerging legal discipline of international economic law, with a focus on the legal status of its major branches closely related to the objectives of legal education. This is the purpose of this textbook.
