Features: Led by Vice President Wang Runchang of Tianjin Normal University, a delegation of seven faculty and students from China went to Europe for a lecture tour and investigation. They not only successfully negotiated exchanges for teachers and students but also engaged in extensive academic activities. Over 12 days, they took over 10,000 photos of architecture, clothing, symbols, folk customs, and more. As an expert in clothing culture studies, Huai Mei gained abundant insights from this trip. Following the upcoming publication of Huai Mei on World Clothing — Diverse Southeast Asia in Beijing, three other books in the Huai Mei on World Clothing series are also planned and will be released: Ancient Italy, Romantic France, and Stoic Germany. These works aim to study clothing from a global perspective and with modern concepts, marking this European trip as a new starting point for research.
