Today, Tongzhou is a rapidly developing new urban area in Beijing, where many artists from across the country gather. Among them, the renowned art masters Huang Yongyu and Han Meilin have resided and lived in Tongzhou for a long time. The Eight Tongzhou Artists is a collection of works by eight local Tongzhou painters active in the community. With an open and inclusive attitude and broad perspectives, they have absorbed a wealth of influences, resulting in these artistic creations. Their works are distinctive and diverse in style, and an increasing number of people are appreciating and collecting their art.
