Does hepatitis B spread between couples?

Patient's question:

During a health check after graduating from junior high school, it was discovered that I had a minor positive for hepatitis B. I received treatment for a period of time, but it didn't improve, so I stopped seeking treatment afterward and only had occasional check-ups. It has always been a minor positive for hepatitis B. During pregnancy, I had an HBV DNA test, but I don't know what the results mean. The doctor didn't explain much either. I would like to ask if, in my case, besides blood infection, can family members and spouses be infected through other routes?

Doctor's answer:

The main sources of hepatitis B transmission are acute and chronic hepatitis B patients and virus carriers. Chronic patients and virus carriers are the most significant sources of transmission, and their infectivity is directly proportional to the viral load in their body fluids. The routes of transmission involve humans contracting the virus through contaminated body fluids or blood entering the body through damaged skin and mucous membranes. The main routes of transmission include: 1. Mother-to-child transmission 2. Blood and body fluid transmission (it has now been confirmed that fluids such as saliva, sweat, semen, vaginal, and milk contain HBV, so close personal contact and sexual contact are also potential routes of HBV transmission).
