Features: The introduction to the dietary lives of Qing Dynasty emperors and imperial family members has long been relatively weak in the book market. Moreover, ancient official historical records have always been secretive about how emperors ate, making court cuisine seem even more mysterious. Since modern times, there have been many folk histories and fictional works on Qing court life, but most of them are imaginative and cannot be taken as reliable history. Therefore, many people, after appreciating the artistic charm, are eager to know the truth of history—such as how the dietary lives of Qing Dynasty emperors were arranged, what dishes they ate, what drinks and teas they consumed, how the solemn and elaborate court banquets were conducted, and what kind of dining utensils were used in the palace. All these are things that those interested in history are keen to learn about (this is the essence of why this book is called a "secret manual"). This book provides some preliminary introductions and answers to these questions. However, due to the limited historical records currently available, some issues may not be fully explained and require further research. Therefore, we sincerely hope to receive more guidance and feedback from readers and experts so that we can delve deeper into this topic in the future.
