Can hepatitis B transmit to the baby?

Patient's question:

When checking, my liver function showed an elevated ALT level of 65. A month later, the ALT level was 88, and during this period, the virus test results were above normal. Now the baby is three months old.

Doctor's answer:

Can breastfeed! It needs to be emphasized here that anesthesia for hepatitis B immune globulin is not necessary during the 7th, 8th, or 9th months of pregnancy. Originally, it was believed that this could prevent intrauterine transmission and perinatal transmission, but now it is believed that this is not necessary. As long as hepatitis B immune globulin is administered as soon as possible within 12 hours after the newborn is born, and the hepatitis B vaccine is also vaccinated, it can significantly reduce the effect of cutting off mother-to-child transmission. Alternatively, within 12 hours after birth, anesthetize one dose of hepatitis B immune globulin first, and then anesthetize the second dose of hepatitis B immune globulin one month later, while also vaccinating the hepatitis B vaccine. Vaccinate the second and third doses of the hepatitis B vaccine at intervals of 1 and 6 months, respectively.
