Patient's question:
I feel good about myself, but my liver enzyme test results showed elevated ALT levels. I have been on dialysis for five years, and I was diagnosed with hepatitis C in 2009.Hello: What kind of hepatitis C is type C? Thank you.
Doctor's answer:
Hepatitis, the full name for liver inflammation, can also be vividly understood as liver inflammation. It typically refers to the invasion of the liver by various different blood-borne pathogens—such as viruses, acute severe bacterial infections, parasites, chemical toxins, drugs and poisons, and alcohol—which damage liver cells and impair liver function. It can lead to a series of discomforting symptoms in the body and abnormal liver function indicators. It should be noted that the hepatitis commonly referred to in daily life mostly refers to viral hepatitis caused by hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E viruses. This is just the most important branch within the "hepatitis" family. The hepatitis mentioned in the preceding text, however, refers to hepatitis in a broader sense and is not limited to viral hepatitis.
