It is based on the current commercial legal system of China, succinctly covering the fundamental content of current commercial legislation and commercial legal theory, and constructs a relatively complete system of commercial law. From the first edition to the third edition, in addition to substantial revisions regarding relevant new legislation and major theoretical advancements, the book has maintained as much stability as possible in terms of content and structure. Compared to the second edition, due to theoretical developments and legislative revisions, the book has undergone significant revisions in the General Theory, Company Law, Securities Law, Bankruptcy Law, and Insurance Law sections, as well as corresponding updates and adjustments in the Negotiable Instruments Law and Maritime Law sections, making its system structure more perfect. In the General Theory section, revisions and supplements have been made on core issues of commercial law theory, such as the objects of regulation of commercial law, the connotation and extension of commercial subjects, and the connotation and extension of commercial acts, thereby making the General Theory section more systematic and complete based on the absorption of recent research achievements in commercial law theory. The Company Law and Securities Law sections mainly focus on the revisions of the two laws in 2005, with substantial revisions to the relevant content. The Partnership Enterprise Law section in the General Theory and the Bankruptcy Law section in the Substantive Part are based on the "Partnership Enterprise Law" and the "Enterprise Bankruptcy Law" promulgated on August 27, 2006, with substantial adjustments made to both the original content and the system structure. For the convenience of teachers' teaching use, this book is accompanied by the teaching presentation slides for "Commercial Law" (Third Edition).
