Features: This book systematically presents the fundamental principles and implementation techniques of computer control systems. The book consists of 10 chapters, divided into three parts: (1) Basic theories of computer control, including an overview of computer control, system signal analysis, mathematical description of computer control systems, and analysis of discrete systems; (2) Design of computer control systems, including continuous-domain discretization design, direct discrete-domain design (e.g., root locus design, W-domain design), and state-space design; (3) Engineering implementation techniques of computer control systems, including the construction of computer control systems, certain engineering implementation issues (e.g., quantization error analysis, selection of sampling periods, and anti-interference and reliability), embedded systems, programmable logic controllers, distributed control systems, bus control systems, and control network systems. The final chapter introduces three application examples. At the end of the book, a commonly used table of z-transforms is provided, and the exercises for each chapter are placed in the appendix. The accompanying CD-ROM includes a table of commonly used MATLAB commands and symbolic language toolboxes related to the book, solutions to some exercises, and electronic teaching plans for instructors based on the content of the book. This book can serve as a textbook for undergraduate students in automatic control (automation), electrical engineering, instrumentation, and mechatronics. It can also be used as a foundational textbook for graduate students and as a valuable reference for engineering and technical personnel.
