How to treat high blood pressure?

Patient's question:

I'm usually quite healthy, but recently I don't know why I've been feeling dizzy. A few days ago, when I went for a community health check-up, the doctor told me I have high blood pressure. This has made me very worried, and I've been feeling agitated lately. I'd like to ask you, how should I treat dizziness and high blood pressure?

Doctor's answer:

If your blood pressure is high the first time you measure it, it is recommended that you measure your blood pressure again on two different days. If two out of three measurements show a decrease, it can be inferred that your blood pressure has dropped, and you may experience dizziness. It is advised to first stabilize your condition through non-medical treatments, such as adequate exercise, dietary changes, a regular lifestyle, and a low-sodium diet. If there is no improvement within 1 to 3 months, it is recommended that you take antihypertensive medication.
