Features: On the road of life, choosing a profession is a multiple-choice question, while doing well in that profession is an applied question. Being a boss is also a profession, but it's easy to make this choice, yet difficult to excel in this applied question. Because whether it's a big boss or a small boss, the equation of the applied question is too long, long enough to require a lifetime of calculation. The title of "boss" is too challenging and alluring. The reason isn't just that successful bosses throughout history and across cultures always like to showcase their shining side, but also because among all professions, only being a boss is closest to money. In today's society, you can skip music, skip art exhibitions, skip entertainment, but you can't avoid spending money. So, everyone wanting to be a boss is perfectly normal—who wouldn't want to?
A boss is different from an administrative position. You can tell the rank of an official by their titles—Director, Division Chief, Section Chief—but you can't figure out how much wealth a boss has just by their title. However, to be a boss is essentially to constantly be at odds with money—not you chasing after money, but money chasing after you. You might be in deep debt, or you might be rolling in wealth. Or you might be stuck in the middle, being pushed around, tangled in disputes, or playing hide-and-seek. You might be counting money in a dizzying mess, your heart racing with excitement, or losing money inexplicably, sweating profusely in panic.
Being a boss is like sailing on the sea of an 18-grade hurricane—sometimes on the crest of the waves, sometimes in the trough. It's thrilling yet risky, exhilarating yet fraught with hardship. But as long as you return safely, all the experiences become a source of pride, and you can fully enjoy the envy and admiration of those who dream of being bosses.
This book uses simple language and is accompanied by humorous cartoons to help young friends understand the profession of being a boss more objectively and correctly, enabling them to establish scientific ideals and pave the way for their future careers.
