Features: Elementary School Mathematics Teaching Research is a textbook written for undergraduate students majoring in elementary education. With the continuous development of the times and basic education, the requirements for the various qualities of elementary school teachers are also constantly increasing, making undergraduate education for elementary school teachers imperative. Compiling textbooks on mathematics teaching and research for elementary education majors is an important way to improve the mathematical education literacy of elementary school teachers, help them understand and recognize the essence and laws of mathematical education. Currently, there are already some undergraduate textbooks written for elementary education majors in China. During the writing process of this book, we have absorbed some of their main viewpoints and ideas while also striving to reflect our own writing intentions and the basic concepts and content requirements of the new curriculum. The writing of this textbook was carried out two or three years after the reform of the new curriculum had been implemented, so it can be said that its the curriculum philosophy, teaching philosophy, learning philosophy, and evaluation philosophy of the new curriculum. Most of the examples and teaching cases in the textbook are actual instances from the implementation of the new curriculum. The textbook aims to start from the practical needs of elementary school teachers and readers, presenting theoretical explanations in an easy-to-understand manner. The analysis of teaching content and suggestions for teaching practice are presented in a combination of examples and discussions, enabling readers to gain more insights through studying this book. Therefore, this textbook can serve as both a undergraduate textbook for elementary education majors and a reference material for general elementary school mathematics teachers in their research, learning, and training.
