For designations that cannot be matched between domestic and international standards, reference designations are suggested for consultation. It is evident that the Technical Conditions and Designation Comparison of World Steel and Alloy Materials is a comprehensive reference book with a complete category, broad application, and strong practicality. Overall, the book has three prominent features: First, it allows readers to find relevant Chinese and international standard designations (such as those from the International Organization for Standardization, Europe, the United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Russia) that are the same or similar to those specified for the intended applications. Additionally, it is worth noting that the letter symbols representing the mechanical properties of representative products in the handbook still follow the current standard specifications. In the future, newly drafted or revised standards will specify the yield strength symbol.
