Features: The Story of Nils is the masterpiece of Selma Lagerl?f, the 1909 Nobel Prize laureate in Literature, a Swedish female writer. It tells the story of a boy named Nils riding on a white goose from his home and embarking on an adventure with a flock of wild geese for more than eight months. The entire book revolves around the main plot of Nils transforming from a human into a tiny thumb-sized creature and then reverting back to a human. It intersperses numerous Swedish folk tales and the geographical features of various regions in Sweden, as well as many standalone stories, fairy tales, and legends. This makes each chapter both self-contained and interconnected.
