Features: New phenomena and old issues are always accompanied by the application of law, and the application of the Criminal Code is no exception. The resolution of new and old issues relies on a precise understanding of legal provisions and a solid grasp of criminal theory. The study of the application of the Criminal Procedure Law in China is relatively mature, with a large number of relevant articles and works. This report does not select current hot issues in the application of the Criminal Procedure Law but instead explores several less-discussed topics that are closely related to prosecutorial work. From the perspective of selection, targeting hotspots is understandable, but a more commendable approach is to take a different path, as this report does. This is one of the report's advantages. The second feature of the report is its thorough argumentation and substantive content. In each section, the report first analyzes the problems in current legislation and judicial interpretations, and on this basis, proposes solutions in practice. This effectively overcomes the common flaw of merely without reasoned argumentation, making the report's arguments both persuasive and insightful.
