Henan is geographically located in the central part of China, the "center" of China, and was known as the "Zhongzhou" (Central State) in ancient times, also broadly referred to as the Central Plains, serving as the central part of the Central Plains. On this vast, flat, and fertile plain of the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, the ancestors of the Chinese nation created a splendid agricultural civilization, making it the most important cradle of the Chinese nation. Chinese civilization originated here, developed here, and matured here.
In ancient times, it was said, "He who controls the Central Plains controls the world." Throughout Chinese history, more than 20 dynasties established their capitals in places like Anyang, Luoyang, and Kaifeng in Henan, making the region a long-standing center of China's politics, economy, and culture. Here, the nation's human, material, and financial resources were concentrated for development and construction, creating, accumulating, and recording the wealth of Chinese civilization and the image of the Chinese nation.
