Any construction activities carried out within the territory of the People's Republic of China and the implementation of supervision and management of construction activities shall comply with this law. The term "construction activities" referred to in this law refers to the construction of various types of buildings and their ancillary facilities, as well as the installation of supporting power lines, pipelines, and equipment. Construction activities shall ensure the quality and safety of construction projects and comply with national construction safety standards.
