Features: This book, "Principles of Marxist Philosophy," is a textbook for the Marxist theory course (public course) in ordinary higher education institutions. This teaching material is compiled in accordance with the political theory examination syllabus for the national postgraduate entrance examination issued by the Ministry of Education in 2003, while also incorporating the strengths of previously published similar textbooks and the experiences, opinions, and requirements of "two-course" teachers and students regarding the teaching and textbook writing of Marxist philosophy principles. As an exploratory textbook for "two-course" teaching in ordinary higher education institutions, we have made new explorations in the content, format, style, and presentation of the textbook to enhance students' interest in learning Marxist philosophy and facilitate their comprehensive and focused grasp of the fundamental principles of Marxist philosophy. In terms of structure, the textbook strives to highlight key points, be concise and to the point, avoid lengthy discussions and complex arguments, leaving space for students to think and room for teachers to teach creatively. In terms of format, compared to previous and other similar textbooks, this one retains all necessary sections while adding elements such as key points, background materials, and chapter summaries. To cultivate students' ability to analyze and solve problems, the proposed questions also adopt a new format: providing students with several reading materials related to the questions to be addressed, requiring them to answer the questions based on the content of each chapter and the provided materials.
