Features: The title "Annals of Social Critical Theory" first embodies a purpose of authentically recording and reconstructing history, including historicallying the forgotten, concealed, distorted, and missing aspects in the development of classic Marxist theoretical thought. This journal will uphold the sound and solid academic style long established in Chinese Marxist studies, delve into the original texts, clarify the source, restore the original image of Marxist thought in historical research, and deepen the understanding of the contemporary significance of Marxism through historical reflection. Combined with the major research project on contemporary capitalism undertaken by our center recently, this journal invites relevant experts and scholars to open special columns, participate together, and focus on systematically reviewing and responding to representative achievements in the theoretical research of capitalism and socialism within the trends and movements such as contemporary Western Marxism, left-wing radical social theory, cultural studies, feminism, post-colonialism, and socialist movements of the Third World. It aims to establish this journal as an important intellectual platform for social theory research in China.
The "Annals of Social Critical Theory" is committed to using theory as a weapon and scholarship as its foundation, authentically documenting the profound changes in Chinese society in the 21st century, and addressing major fundamental theoretical issues in contemporary Chinese society.
