However, research on complex declarative knowledge is relatively scarce in academia, so the author adopts the method of verbal data analysis to construct a model of the learning process for complex declarative knowledge, dividing the learning process into two stages: understanding and monitoring, and construction activities. Based on this model, the book systematically reveals the basic principles of the learning process for complex declarative knowledge and proposes corresponding teaching and training suggestions, which is the core focus of the book. Building on the research on the learning processes and mechanisms of both types of knowledge, the book finally proposes the characteristics of expert learning. Expert learning is the process of approaching new problems and handling new tasks in the same way as experts. It then elaborates on strategies and methods for cultivating expert learners, consciously fostering expert-like thinking, and ultimately enabling more people to become expert learners.
