Features: In recent years, the petroleum and petrochemical industry has experienced rapid development, with advanced technologies continuously emerging. The role of offshore oil exploration and development, as well as natural gas development and utilization, has become increasingly important in the industry and national economy. Over time, some data in the original volumes has become outdated and requires updating. Readers from various fields have also requested the continuation of supplementary writing for new volumes. Based on expert opinions, we have decided to revise the original 11 volumes and add 9 new ones, including offshore oil exploration, offshore oil development, natural gas extraction, natural gas utilization, petroleum asphalt, refining catalysts, refining additives, service stations, and green petrochemicals. These 9 new volumes have been written by experts from China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), China National Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec), and the China Petroleum and Petrochemical Engineering Society in relevant fields. The revision of the original volumes primarily involves supplementation, updating, and improvement, with no major structural changes.
