Is frequent sexual activity without ejaculation harmful to the body?

Patient's question:

Our relationship is very good, and we have frequent sexual activity. I mentioned that it might be harmful to the body if we do it too much, but my husband said that as long as we don't ejaculate, there is no harm. I'm wondering if not ejaculating is really harmful to the body? I'm 36 years old, and I'm seeking help from all the doctors. Please help me!

Doctor's answer:

Not ejaculation is very harmful to men. Long-term suppression of ejaculation can easily lead to prostatitis. Additionally, sexual intercourse also consumes a lot of physical energy, leading to decreased physical strength, nervous system dysfunction, and weakened immunity, among other issues.
