Features: In today's society, the application of computers has permeated every aspect of our lives, and computer-aided landscape design, as a form of computer-aided design, has also been rapidly developing. This book combines practical examples to elaborate on how to combine and utilize the three major graphics processing software—AutoCAD, Photoshop, and 3ds Max—for computer-aided landscape design. It is worth mentioning that this book progresses from simple to complex, allowing even ordinary landscape workers to grasp its key points. The book primarily focuses on the theory and practice of landscape drawing in actual work, providing detailed explanations of methods and techniques for computer-aided design and drafting. The book is divided into three parts.
Part 1 introduces the current state of computer-aided landscape design and drafting, as well as commonly used software. It proposes combining AutoCAD, Photoshop, and 3DS MAX in the current stage to create and design landscape plans, elevations, construction drawings, and renderings. Each software only takes the parts useful for landscape drafting, aiming for a simple and practical application of these three major software tools. It also briefly introduces some commonly used hardware for landscape drafting.
Part 2 covers the fundamental theories of AutoCAD, Photoshop, and 3DS MAX, specifically tailored for landscape drafting.
Part 3 focuses on practical examples, demonstrating landscape drafting using AutoCAD, Photoshop, and 3DS MAX. The AutoCAD section mainly includes the drawing of landscape plans, elevations, and construction drawings. The Photoshop section takes landscape environmental rendering as an example to illustrate the general process of creating landscape renderings. The 3DS MAX section uses the three-dimensional modeling of pavilions, corridors, bridges, terrain, water surfaces, and water spray areas as examples, primarily introducing 3D modeling and material creation. Through simple examples, the book aims to help readers understand and master the methods of computer-aided landscape drafting in a relatively short time, serving as a stepping stone to inspire further exploration and learning. It enables readers to grasp the work of computer-aided landscape design and drafting in a shorter period.
The target audience for this book includes landscape workers and enthusiasts with some knowledge of landscape design and computers who wish to further study computer-aided landscape design and drafting. It can also serve as a teaching reference material for relevant institutions or training programs.
