Features: The pheasant family is an important animal group in nature, as well as a group with numerous famous rare birds and economic birds. China is the country with the richest pheasant resources, with a total of 62 species, ranking in the world, accounting for nearly a quarter of the global total. Among them, the brown eared pheasant, the yellow-bellied tragopan, the green-tailed monal, the blue quail, the white-crowned red pheasant, the Hainan partridge, and the Sichuan partridge are renowned precious and endemic species, making China a kingdom of pheasants. However, due to human activities such as indiscriminate deforestation and hunting, many wildlife habitats have been damaged, leading to endangered species. Among them, pheasant species that primarily inhabit mountainous forests are most affected, and even some species that were once widely distributed in China have seen a sharp decline in wild populations, with some even becoming extinct. Therefore, how to protect the precious wild pheasant resources and strive to rescue rare and endangered species has become an urgent and pressing task before us. Wildlife conservation reflects the scientific and cultural literacy of a nation and its people. Due to China's large population and relatively underdeveloped cultural and educational sectors, the environmental awareness of the entire population still needs to be further improved. Therefore, publicity and education work is a long-term and arduous task. Letting the broad masses of the people, especially the youth, understand and recognize the morphology, habits, and value of wildlife is an important way to make people understand the significance of protecting wildlife and enhance people's awareness of wildlife conservation.
