Features: This is a collection of exercises compiled for accordion beginners. Students can use it as supplementary material for introductory learning or in conjunction with various accordion examination syllabi under the guidance of their teachers. It is well-known that basic training is crucial in accordion learning, but purely technical exercises can often be monotonous and boring, especially for young children who may struggle to maintain motivation for practice. The book is divided into four parts: Right Hand Exercises, Left Hand Exercises, Two-Hand Exercises, and Appendices. The first two parts serve as preparation for two-hand exercises and can be selected as needed to complement the requirements of two-hand practice. Most of the two-hand exercises are adapted from beginner accordion tutorials such as Czerny and Beyer, along with piano exercises like those in Syloti, with a few original compositions or adaptations based on excerpts from famous pieces. The appendix primarily includes exercise requirements, key tips, and suggestions for practice methods. The two-hand exercises are generally arranged in an order progressing from simple to advanced, with gradually increasing key signatures, while also revisiting previously learned keys. If these exercises are practiced diligently as instructed, students are expected to quickly master the basic techniques of accordion playing and lay a solid foundation for advanced learning. Since this book is a collection of exercises, introductory knowledge and fundamental theory of accordion are not included. Additionally, exercises already present in other accordion tutorials and collections have been omitted as much as possible.
