Features: The initiation and writing process of this tutorial are summarized in the documents of the China Music. During the writing process, as one of the editorial committee members, I received significant professional and ideological education. Due to the extensive content and innovative design, the writing process was highly challenging. The achievement of the current ( means "" in English, so it remains unchanged) was made possible by the active participation of multiple experts and teachers from the Central Conservatory of Music and the China Conservatory of Music. Especially noteworthy are the two senior sight-singing and ear-training experts of our country, Mr. Xiong Kexian and Mr. Xu Jingxing, who were over seventy years old at the time. They personally led and participated in the revision and writing. The writing process coincided with the Chinese New Year's Eve of the Year of the Tiger, during which the two gentlemen, along with the four grade-level chief editors Hou Mengling, Hong Yuehua, Fan Jianming, and Xu Qing, as well as the participating teachers Jiang Kui, Huang Yili, Xie Xiuzhen, and Zhang Jianlin, did not get adequate rest. It is particularly worth mentioning that Mr. Xiong Kexian, Ms. Hong Yuehua, and Ms. Hou Mengling fell ill in the days leading up to the Chinese New Year due to the tight schedule of preparing the ( means "" in English, so it remains unchanged), which deeply moved me and filled me with awe. The China Music has limited status and resources and was unable to provide the experts and teachers with the working conditions they deserved. Yet, for the sake of our country's social music education and career, they worked tirelessly, diligently, without conditions, and without pay, contributing so much of their knowledge, wisdom, and energy. As a member of the China Music involved in this work, I feel deeply honored and ashamed.
