Patient's question:
I have developed prostatic hyperplasia, it's really very uncomfortable.Doctor's answer:
Asymptomatic prostatic ectopia can be treated conservatively without the need for surgery. Urethral prostatic ectopia, often presenting in polypoid morphology, can be cured with simple electrocautery treatment, and recurrence or malignant transformation is unlikely to occur postoperatively. Prostatic ectopia within the bladder can also be treated with electroresection or electrocautery. For larger bladder prostatic ectopias, open enucleation surgery may be performed.
