Storm and wind half a lotus

Features: Writing this memoir was not to vent grievances, but to hope that history no longer repeats itself, forcing the people to bear "unsubstantiated" charges; that everyone is equal before the constitution, and a harmonious society endures. I also don’t want to blame anyone who once enforced wrong policies on me, as historical mistakes cannot be blamed on ordinary people. Additionally, I want to promote the "half" (sunflower, immortal flower) that I love. Anyone in their lifetime may encounter various misfortunes. If one learns the resilience of the "half" and constantly adjusts themselves, they may better face reality. I joined the revolution at an early age and devoted myself tirelessly to the birth and construction of New China. The suffering I experienced is indescribable: the twisted disillusionment of marriage, the scorching summers and biting winters of labor re-education, and the unbearable pain of seeing my white-haired parents lose their black-haired children. Yet, none of this broke her. She is Zhong Hong. She is like a "half" (also known as sunflower, pine needle peony, immortal flower, purslane), constantly adjusting herself to better face reality. This book is Zhong Hong’s memoir, recording the (tortuous) life of Zhong Hong.
