At the same time, many domestic and foreign organizations that used the New Japanese Basic Course, Vol. 1 and 2, us to compile an intermediate textbook following the primary course. Therefore, to meet the demands of the new era, we began to develop the intermediate textbook in 1992 and, after repeated internal discussions and trials, completed the writing of the Japanese Intermediate Course. This textbook is designed for students who have completed New Japanese Basic Course, Vol. 1 and 2. Its purpose is to systematically summarize the knowledge learned, help students master practical conversational skills in daily life, and enable them to communicate fully with Japanese people. This book is written for the technical training of the association, but we believe that students who have completed the primary level in ordinary Japanese educational institutions and are transitioning to the intermediate level can also use this textbook to achieve the goal of improving their Japanese proficiency in a smooth and step-by-step manner. During the writing process of this book, the original textbook was used as a reference, and slight adjustments were made to the structure to facilitate learner use. This book is divided into four parts, including the following content: Part Vocabulary List (new words and their definitions for each lesson), Part Translation (Chinese translations of learning objectives, learning items, dialogues, and key reading content for each lesson), Part Language Knowledge, Part Answers, Listening Text Materials (answers to in-class exercises and text materials for the listening section).
