Features: "The Collection of Peking Opera School Play Scripts of China" is a key book publishing project under the 11th Five-Year Plan of the State of China. It encompasses representative play scripts of Peking Opera schools, being the most comprehensive collection of Peking Opera scripts since the founding of the People's Republic of China in terms of the breadth of schools covered, the number of play scripts, and the thoroughness of compilation. Many of the play scripts included have never been published before. The compilers mainly consist of successors of the schools, descendants, renowned amateur Peking Opera enthusiasts, Peking Opera scholars, and teaching elites from schools, forming a strong team. The play scripts are compiled in full, including the lyrics, vocal scores, percussion scores, physical performance descriptions, and costumes. This collection includes representative play scripts of Yu Shuquan, such as "The Headscarf is Torn Off," "Rescuing the Orphan," "Stealing the Genealogy Scroll," "Swapping Children at the Execution Ground," and "Farewell at Sha Bridge." This book adopts a full-record method (complete with costumes, lyrics, vocal scores, percussion scores, and physical performance scores), compiling the play scripts of Yu Shuquan's "The Headscarf is Torn Off," "Rescuing the Orphan," "Stealing the Genealogy Scroll," "Swapping Children at the Execution Ground," and "Farewell at Sha Bridge."
