Features: Another powerful work on Chinese politics following Confrontations and Changes! Written by Liu Chuanzhi, one of the witnesses of China's great transformations and a renowned entrepreneur. He says, "Wang An interprets 25 years of seriousness in a light manner, which is quite impressive." From 1978 to the present, the important meetings of the Party and State, major speeches by leaders, and significant political events in China have been milestones in every "critical turning point." But for later generations, simply studying history through these milestones is not enough. This book records the major and minor events that have occurred in China from various social perspectives, forming the trajectory of social operation. When combined with each milestone, history becomes vivid and tangible. In other words, milestones are the "bones," while the events that happen in society are the "meat." With both bones and meat, one can truly see whether a person is beautiful or not. Wang An has been engaged in journalism for nearly 20 years. He has been summarizing the events that occurred in Chinese society each year, especially in terms of economy, politics, and society, for more than a decade. This is the foundation of the book today. The references cited by the author are well-documented, making the book credible and reflecting a grassroots perspective, or "a personal take." The book is concise yet information-dense, leaving ample space for readers to reflect. The preface allows readers to draw their own conclusions without any coercion.
