Water Ring (A Long Original Novel by a Shepherd Boy)

Author: Wen Huan
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2003-10-01
Features: The love of the female protagonist, Tang An'an, is like a tattoo on the body. Every dazzling pore pays a price that makes the heart and lungs spasm in agony. Whether it is Du An who gives her "love" or Lao Xu who satisfies her "desire," the ultimate love is just a lone boat that has lost its course. Once stranded on a desolate shore, it will never be sought after again. When love becomes a memory, all that can be heard is the lonely heartbeat of oneself. The author focuses on the fate of "alternative" women from a unique perspective, bold and sharp yet not devoid of tenderness. The novel's brushwork is ethereal, the language straightforward, flowing and flexible, without any pretense, but the incisive and romantic language is full of poetry. After reading it, one becomes even more restless.
