Severe lower back pain, have prostatitis, prostate stones

Patient's question:

Severe lower back pain, prostatitis, prostate stones

Doctor's answer:

Hello, prostate stones are often found in the distal part of the prostatic ducts or in the posterior lobe of the prostate, or in the surrounding area and deep parts of the prostate. Therefore, they can frequently block the ducts, leading to poor excretion of prostatic fluid and easily causing urinary tract and prostate infections. On the other hand, prostate stones often hide a large number of bacteria. When the prostate stones are crushed and subjected to bacterial culture, a large number of bacteria can be observed, whereas when prostate tissue is crushed and cultured, no bacteria grow. Therefore, prostate stones often serve as infection cores, storing bacteria while inhibitory antibiotics find it difficult to enter the stones and take effect. As a result, prostate stones are very prone to causing recurrent urinary tract infections and even prostatitis.
