Did you suffer from seminal vesiculitis severely?

Patient's question:

I don't know when I got seminal vesiculitis, and these days I've been tormented by this condition. I want to ask if seminal vesiculitis is serious?

Doctor's answer:

Analysis of the condition:
The patient often exhibits systemic septic symptoms such as fever and chills, along with local symptoms like lower abdominal pain, which may extend to the groin and perineum, resembling the colicky pain of ureteral stones. The posterior urethra is also frequently affected, leading to symptoms such as urinary urgency, frequency, dysuria, difficulty urinating, hematuria, and urethral discharge. Hematospermia is a characteristic sign of seminal vesiculitis. During inflammation, sexual arousal often causes local congestion, resulting in pain, which intensifies during ejaculation, leading to temporary sexual dysfunction. Local examination reveals tenderness in the lower abdomen, and digital rectal examination may detect tenderness near the prostate.
Guidance:
Difficulty urinating is caused by cyst compression of the bladder neck and posterior urethra. The severity of urinary difficulty is related to the size and position of the cyst. Domestic reports indicate that seminal vesicular cysts account for 9.1% of cases causing urinary difficulties.
