Features: This is a rare fantasy novel, but not just fantasy. The story narrates the tale of saving Happy Town. Happy Town is the place where people on Earth find joy, and the protagonists Heng Heng and the Liver-and-Onion Tea Flower Princess reside in a small castle in Happy Town. Due to a prophecy by a strange guest, Happy Town disappears, and the Liver-and-Onion Tea Flower Princess also vanishes. Heng Heng embarks on a grand adventure to save Happy Town. On his way to attend the funeral of Happy Town, Heng Heng meets the mole poet, becomes friends with the Crow Lady, and sits together on a broom, the three of them traveling through a long and fun journey while telling stories. During the grand adventure to save Happy Town, Heng Heng receives help from the unrealistic Dolphin Miss, the spider grandmother, and the God of the Abyss, and ultimately defeats the Moon King, who has transformed into the strange guest, and the Martian Boy, restoring Happy Town. In the adventures across the heavens and the earth, fairy tale stars from all over the world come to lend a hand—there are the Golden Horn King from Journey to the West, the Half-Body Person from Italian Folktales, the Spider Grandmother from Charlotte's Web, Kafka's "K," Murakami Haruki's "Hiroshi Watanabe," the little pigs "Mai" and "Dou," the Flower Fairies, Smurfs, the Soldier, the Black Cat Detective, and more, even the dinosaur emergency train Kessho! There is also the real-life version of the fantasy chronicler Zhang Zeze and the Nightingale Squad, who are making a special appearance. "To write a novel that is different from the rest, to write a novel that people long for in their dreams." The novel not only creates a series of fun stories and fairy tale characters but also explores a stunning aesthetics—a fantastical realm interwoven with the mysteries of human nature and the joy of language.
