Is it balanitis if there are small red spots inside the foreskin?

Patient's question:

About a month ago, I had unprotected sex. After that, I developed small red spots on my foreskin and glans for three times. It happens about once a week. Sometimes there are a few spots, and sometimes there are one or two. They disappear on their own within 1 to 2 days. There is no pain or itching, but it feels a bit uncomfortable. The area is very sensitive, and even walking becomes a bit uncomfortable. I initially thought it was balanitis and took roxithromycin for about 7 days, and washed with potassium permanganate once a day. But now the spots are still there. Could you please help me figure out what is going on?

Doctor's answer:

Your condition is generally considered to be symptoms caused by balanitis, which is related to hygiene.
It is recommended to take oral antibiotics such as Amoxicillin capsules while applying povidone-iodine solution externally. Maintain cleanliness and dryness of the glans and pay attention to a light diet.
