On October 28, 2002, the World Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Federation was established in Beijing, promoting the development of China's mental arithmetic industry.
"Suanshutong's Children's Mental Arithmetic with Abacus" compiles the decades of teaching experience of speed calculation expert Professor Chen Zijing, including Chen's "One Stroke Clear, One Glance Clear, One Mouth Clear, One Abacus Clear." His teaching method is: "Learning through children's songs, singing, jumping, and playing—learning in joy, practicing in play, integrating education into entertainment. It is both learning and a game." This method enhances children's learning interest and ensures balanced and healthy development in their cognition, thinking, and personality. To "popularize early childhood mental arithmetic and cultivate little geniuses," the Beijing Suanshutong Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Technology Research Center was established in February 2005. It is a unique research institution for children's mental arithmetic in China, organized by experts in early childhood education and mental arithmetic, with independent intellectual property rights and a complete educational system.
