Features: This manual is compiled according to the requirements of the "JLPT Test Question Standards" (by the Japan Foundation and the Japan Association for International Education, 1994) for Levels 3 and 4, as well as the past question trends. It includes over 2,000 entries. Among them, more than 1,000 entries marked with an asterisk are for Level 4 vocabulary, and the total number of entries marked with and without asterisks constitutes Level 3 vocabulary. This manual is based on the "Bilingual Example-Explained Pronunciation Japanese Proficiency Test 3 and 4 Level Vocabulary Manual" (East China University of Science and Technology Press, 2003) and is designed for Japanese proficiency test candidates who wish to memorize vocabulary in a short period of several months. Of course, it is also suitable for general beginners and intermediate Japanese learners. To help users correctly grasp the pitch of each word, this manual marks the pitch for every word. There are various methods for memorizing vocabulary, among which the most effective is repeated recitation. It is hoped that users will review the vocabulary at least twice before the exam. This will not only help achieve good results in the "Vocabulary and Grammar" section but also significantly improve scores in the "Listening" and "Reading and Grammar" sections.
