The "Japanese Basic Lectures" series is a Japanese teaching material jointly developed by the China Central Radio & Television University, Japan Talk Magazine, and NHK. The entire set consists of four volumes, accompanied by multimedia interactive discs and high-capacity DVD teaching discs (7.5–8.5 hours per volume, real video courses, suitable for Japanese systematic training). "Japanese Basic Lectures" is divided into 27 lessons, with topics centered around daily life and in-depth sentence pattern analysis. Each lesson's dialogue is accompanied by visual displays, allowing you to clearly understand the scene and language used. Additionally, NHK host Reiko Ijiri reads the sentences in the dialogue at a slower pace, providing an excellent simulated learning opportunity. Each sentence includes an explanation section, paired with text display, offering classroom-like scenarios. Each word in the text is further explained with pronunciation and Chinese translation for easy reference.
Each volume of "Japanese Basic Lectures" is divided into 7 units. The first 1–3 lessons of the first volume focus on pronunciation learning, while lessons 4–7 cover topics such as greetings, school, visits, and welcoming guests; the second volume focuses on topics like asking for directions, shopping, at the post office, hospital, eating, making phone calls, and exercising; the third volume covers topics such as birthdays, spring cleaning, the New Year, borrowing books, winter vacation, and watching Kabuki performances; the fourth volume focuses on topics like mountain climbing, cherry blossom viewing, part-time jobs, visiting the sick, and agricultural knowledge.
