Patient's question:
Hello doctor!I accidentally bumped into my lower left abdomen a few days ago, but I felt some pain.
When I went home that night, it started to swell a bit, but it has now gone down. However, there seems to be something inside my left scrotum. When I press it, it feels like nerve pain, but pressing the testicles doesn’t cause any pain. When I look at the outside of my left scrotum with my right eye, it appears purplish-red.
Is this condition serious? Where could it be affecting?
Doctor's answer:
Hello, the first step in dealing with a disease is to understand its cause. Generally, testicular swelling is often seen in conditions such as testicular inflammation, testicular tumors, or hydrocele. A specific diagnosis requires clear clinical manifestations and related tests. It is recommended that you go to a regular hospital for relevant tests to confirm the diagnosis and then receive symptomatic treatment. Please do not use medication by yourself.
