Features: Harmony has become the main theme of contemporary social development. In today's increasingly competitive environment, advocating harmony undoubtedly holds significant practical implications. The history of humanity is a continuous process of renewal; the existence of an outstanding enterprise is even more the result of constantly overcoming opponents and oneself, innovating and developing, and enhancing competitiveness. Only by being good at and daring to innovate and continuously improving competitiveness can an enterprise win the market and achieve success. This process must be based on corporate harmony, and therefore, corporate harmony is the source of an enterprise's competitiveness. Corporate harmony is the combined force generated by internal and external harmony within an enterprise. It is a positive force that promotes the comprehensive progress of the enterprise, and through this force, it stimulates corporate vitality, mobilizes all positive factors to form greater synergy, and thus brings about more efficient development. Corporate harmony has three levels of meaning: harmony within the enterprise, harmony between the enterprise and external stakeholders, and harmony between the enterprise and the external environment. Internal harmony is the foundation and most important part of corporate harmony. To achieve internal harmony, efforts must be made in corporate culture construction, employee welfare, and conflict resolution within the organization, creating a harmonious environment for employees, enhancing corporate harmony, and ultimately improving competitiveness. This requires managers to adopt a coordination mindset, focusing on balancing relationships between different departments within and among the organization, including organizational structure, production implementation processes, interest distribution, and human resource allocation, so that all aspects achieve balance; guiding employees to adopt a holistic coordination mindset, ensuring individual actions align with corporate goals. In a word, internal harmony is the force of humanistic management, where the enterprise maximally respects employees' individual needs and cultivates employee satisfaction. It is the key force for enterprise development and the source of its competitiveness. The world-renowned company Walmart regards internal harmony as the fundamental force for its survival. They believe, "Every employee is like a brick on the wall. Each brick may be strong on its own, but to form a powerful wall, the indispensable element is mortar—the harmony formed by teamwork." Harmony between the enterprise and external stakeholders refers to the harmony between the enterprise and those with economic relationships, including material suppliers, manufacturers, and groups involved in equipment supply, etc. Only by influencing the behavior of these stakeholders and maintaining long-term cooperative relationships can an enterprise enhance its competitiveness. Poorly managed relationships will directly affect the realization of the enterprise's economic interests. Only through long-term harmonious coexistence in the external system environment, forming a system of co-prosperity, symbiosis, and mutual benefit, and establishing long-term stable trust and cooperation mechanisms among members, can the enterprise ensure the continuous and stable realization of its interests. To gain this force, the main means for the enterprise is to proactively take on social responsibilities, including balancing the interests of stakeholders, aligning with social development, harmonious coexistence and mutual benefit, which is also the best way for the enterprise to win customers and cultivate customer loyalty. Harmony between the enterprise and the external environment refers to the harmony between the enterprise and its geographical, economic, political, and cultural environments. In this environment, the enterprise needs to maintain synchronization with the external environment, which means observing and studying external environmental changes and adjusting and formulating decisions based on the environment to better adapt to its influence and the development and application of the market. External environmental harmony is a long-term strategic issue for the enterprise, and this harmony is also an important force for corporate success, equally determining the enterprise's sustainable development. The combination of these three harmonious forces in the process of enterprise development forms the productivity of the enterprise and constitutes its development system. Corporate harmony is the source of an enterprise's competitiveness. Only by having harmony can an enterprise cultivate loyal customers, enhance the cohesion and combat effectiveness of its brand; only by having harmony can it eliminate conflicts and contradictions between the enterprise and its suppliers and distributors at all levels, achieving the common development of the entire industrial chain; only by having harmony can it fully mobilize employees' initiative and creativity, thereby achieving internal performance optimization. Harmony is the source of corporate competitiveness. An enterprise without harmony will inevitably encounter development bottlenecks due to excessive competition. As British scholar Professor John Ke said, "The core factor of a successful company should go beyond the mere pursuit of profit. It is this factor that inspires employee loyalty, gives the enterprise the passion for creativity and innovation, and ultimately enables successful business operations. Understanding the meaning of 'making a living with the right methods' is the prerequisite for maintaining sustainable economic development." When building harmony, enterprises must adhere to three principles: full participation, positive interaction, and harmonious innovation. Therefore, managers must establish concepts and values widely recognized by all, improve and resolve various conflicts in the labor process, work together in harmony, and coordinate actions, which is essential for the sustainable and healthy development of the enterprise. Additionally, employees must be guided to recognize harmonious enterprises, creating an atmosphere of harmonious management, achieving the goals of harmonious management, and ultimately focusing on improving corporate competitiveness. Of course, the ultimate goal of enterprises is to improve economic benefits and employee living standards, which is also the unremitting pursuit of every manager. To achieve this goal, the first step is to implement a scientific development concept, focusing on coordinated development in all aspects of the enterprise, and building a harmonious enterprise. Promoting benefits through harmony and promoting harmony through benefits will guide the enterprise along a virtuous cycle. Simply pursuing benefits without focusing on the construction of harmonious enterprises is a short-term behavior. Practice has proven that harmony is the foundation of benefits, and benefits are the guarantee of harmony. The two mutually reinforce and promote each other. Only by grasping both benefits and harmony can harmony and benefits develop in sync, and the enterprise's competitiveness can be improved. This book proposes new concepts and operational methods from multiple perspectives on building corporate harmony and constructing harmonious enterprises, offering a fresh approach for managers to enhance corporate competitiveness. It is believed that as long as managers establish a harmonious mindset and lead corporate development with this mindset, they can perfect corporate structures, establish broad harmonious relationships, rapidly improve corporate competitiveness, and guide the enterprise toward a path of sustainable and healthy development.
