What is the reason for the small bumps, the size of needle tips, on the coronal sulcus of my glans?

Patient's question:

Doctor, hello:
I have a row of needle-sized bumps on my corona (the area where the head of the penis connects to the shaft), and the smegma is yellow. It doesn’t hurt or itch. The yellow smegma has been there for about 2 months. What could be causing this!!
Additional question: Why is the smegma yellow?? I washed it a few days ago, and it reappeared!! Do I need to clean it every day??

Doctor's answer:

Analysis of the condition:
You are referring to small, uniform, and well-arranged papules or filiform lesions on the edge of the glans penis, which are most likely penile pearls.
Recommendations:
Penile pearls are a benign condition. Some people may experience spontaneous resolution after a certain period, while others may have no changes for decades. Since penile pearls are non-communicable and do not affect health, no treatment is necessary. It is recommended to frequently wash the penis and perineum, as well as to change underwear regularly.
