Patient's question:
Erectile dysfunction is slow and not firm enough, and ejaculation occurs immediately after insertion. Is it impotence? What should I eat for this?
Are there any traditional Chinese medicine formulations that can treat this?
Doctor's answer:
Hello: What is your age?A. Oral Medications: To reduce excitability, small doses of anti-anxiety or sedative drugs can be administered. You may choose one of the following:
Trimethobenzamide 0.1–0.3 grams, three times daily.
Phenobarbital 0.03 grams, three times daily.
Oryzanol 10 milligrams, three times daily.
Propantheline 30 milligrams, combined with Librium 20 milligrams, once nightly.
Methydopa 25 milligrams, taken one hour before intercourse to inhibit ejaculation.
B. Topical Medications: Wash the glans of the penis 0.5–1 hour before intercourse, then apply a small amount of anesthetic cream, such as 1% Dyclonine ointment, or 1% procaine or 2% cocaine. Note that only a small amount of the cream should be applied to the tip of the glans; excessive application may reduce the ejaculation response, even leading to anejaculation, and may also affect erectile function, causing weak erections.
