Nongranulomatous balanitis that doesn't heal for a long time, will circumcision help?

Patient's question:

I have phimosis and my resistance has decreased with age. Now I have developed candidal balanitis. I used Pramesin, which is said to contain hormones, but stopped after two weeks. Currently, I am using Daktarin, which has been nearly a month, but I have not yet recovered.
Is it true that after undergoing circumcision, the condition will automatically heal?

Doctor's answer:

Problem Analysis: Not much relevance. Candidal balanitis is a common male genital disease caused by Candida infection. Treatment can involve rinsing the glans and foreskin with physiological saline or Rivanol solution to remove dirt, immersing the foreskin and glans skin in sodium bicarbonate solution and applying Kangxi wash solution to the glans, once or twice daily, while also applying antifungal creams such as Clotrimazole cream, Fungizone cream, or Terbinafine cream for treatment.
Advice: If urethral irritation symptoms occur, oral Nystatin or Fluconazole can be taken for treatment.
