What symptoms are you experiencing?

Patient's question:

Detailed medical condition and consultation purpose:
Doctor, hello: I have some small bumps on the edge of my glans, very small, and they have been there for 7 years (I had no sexual contact back then). I’ve never had any other symptoms, but recently, some areas have been aching. I don’t know what it could be. Today, I bought some anti-inflammatory medication and a spray (Ark Fluorine and Mest) from the hospital. Please provide a symptom analysis and treatment advice. Thank you for your response.
Duration and persistence of the current illness: 2-3 days
Current general condition: Some stinging pain when touched or pressed

Doctor's answer:

Hello: Your condition is likely to be a case of molluscum contagiosum! Molluscum contagiosum on the penis is seen at the edge of the glans, appearing as small, millet-sized papules arranged uniformly in the same skin color, without any inflammatory reaction or discomfort. This is molluscum contagiosum. If an acetic acid test is negative, meaning the 5% acetic acid solution does not turn white when applied, this condition is seen in males after puberty and is completely normal. It does not require treatment and there is no need to panic. However, in some cases, this phenomenon may be misidentified as genital warts, leading to treatments like laser therapy or medication, which is incorrect.
